One guy with focus pads & the other with thaipads, 3 X one min rounds.
Start of in The Fence/ Passive Stance position, you get pushed hard, full-on verbal abuse,
you try to diffuse it doesn't work so you have to pre-empt.
Basically an awesome drill to get the person (pad hitter) fatigued in the quickest possible time.
Working on gross motor skills, hitting using palm strikes, elbow strikes, knees & kicking.
Makes it very difficult to verbally defuse/ talk when your hearts rate goes though the ceiling.
Also great for combat conditioning, forward combat mind-set,
eliminating ones own tunnel vision by looking where the X2 pad holders are,
Getting used to being pushed about & verbal abused, pre empting under pressure, power hitting/ kicking etc.
All in all a very hard & tiring 1 min round!
